As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
1. General Information
NOMISMA: Journal of Economics, Business, and Management is a peer-reviewed journal that welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the fields of economics, business, and management. All manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and adhere to the guidelines provided below.
2. Submission Process
Manuscript Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s submission system.
Cover Letter: A cover letter must accompany the manuscript submission, briefly explaining the significance of the work and stating that the manuscript is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Format: Manuscripts should be typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
Length: Research articles should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, review articles between 4,000 and 6,000 words, and case studies between 3,000 and 5,000 words.
Title Page: The title page should include the title of the manuscript, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), corresponding author's email address, and an abstract not exceeding 250 words.
Abstract: The abstract should summarize the main objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the research.
Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript.
4. Structure of Manuscripts
Introduction: Clearly state the problem, objectives, and significance of the research.
Literature Review: Provide a review of relevant literature to position the study within the existing body of knowledge.
Methodology: Describe the research design, data collection methods, and analysis procedures.
Results: Present the research findings in a clear and concise manner.
Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting the implications and limitations of the study.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and suggest areas for future research.
References: All references should be cited in the text and listed at the end of the manuscript in IEEE format.
5. Tables and Figures
Tables: Tables should be numbered consecutively and include a descriptive title. Each table should be referenced in the text.
Figures: Figures should be numbered consecutively and include a descriptive caption. Each figure should be referenced in the text.
Quality: Ensure that all figures and tables are of high quality and clearly readable.
6. Ethical Considerations
Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Plagiarism will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.
Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Informed Consent: Authors should ensure that informed consent is obtained from all participants involved in the study.
Data Availability: Authors should be prepared to provide access to the raw data upon request.
7. Review Process
Initial Check: The editorial team will perform an initial check to ensure the manuscript adheres to the journal’s guidelines.
Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial check will be subjected to a double-blind peer review process.
Revisions: Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments.
Final Decision: The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript will be made by the Editor-in-Chief.
8. Publication Ethics
Authors must adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
9. Copyright
Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement granting the journal exclusive rights to publish the manuscript.
